Varanasi. An important meeting of the members of the veto committee of the National Working Committee of the Samta Samajwadi Congress Party (Congress-S) was held at a guest house in Lahurabir.

In the meeting, important discussions were held on the outline of the movement on public issues and the action plan regarding the upcoming assembly elections.

Addressing the meeting, the National President of the party Dr. Arvind Gandhi said that in order to hide the big conspiracy of capturing and looting the economic resources of the country, the BJP has been misleading people on issues like Hindutva, so that the youth and the common man do not pay attention to this loot. He said that women, teenagers and girls in the country are becoming victims of incidents like kidnapping and rape, educated youth are committing suicide due to the worry of employment.  Labor laws are being abolished, a system is being created to discriminate against workers and make them work like slaves. Instead of permanent employment laws, exploitative laws like contract system and fixed term have come into place. At a time when there is chaos and tension everywhere, the wealth of capitalists has increased tremendously.

Dr. Arvind Gandhi said that the BJP government is responsible for the increasing unemployment and inflation in the country.

He said that according to an estimate, if the profits made by capitalists after the coming of Modi government in 2014 are added, then it is as much money as the government of our country budgets for one year for the country. The gap between rich and poor is increasing very fast, due to which people of the unorganized sector in the country are becoming victims of inequality. The party has decided to struggle on the issues of stopping the sale of the country in the name of privatization, to debate on employment, education and health, why jobs are not being provided and the plight of farmers.  Prominently present in the meeting were E. Moinuddin Ahmed, Yugul Kishore Vishwakarma, Vijay Sharma, Ashok Kumar Vishwakarma, Dr. Savita Poonam, Swami Dr. Ramakant Shrimali, etc.
