Varanasi. With the objective of expanding Bharat Suraksha Parishad in the states, the Central Committee of the Council has given its approval to the formation of Uttar Pradesh State Executive Committee in the first phase. In this regard, a meeting of the Central Working Committee of Bharat Suraksha Parishad was held in Varanasi today under the chairmanship of the Council's President Dr. Arvind Gandhi. In the meeting, the Central Committee, by consensus, started the process of formation of Bharat Suraksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh State Executive Committee, under which senior social worker and doctor/surgeon of Varanasi, Dr. Jitendra Pratap Singh was elected as the President of Bharat Suraksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, a meeting of all the life members and Central Working Committee of the Council has been called on the first Sunday of March regarding the formation of Uttar Pradesh State Executive, in which the office bearers of the State Executive of Bharat Suraksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh will be elected by consensus, but according to the Council spokesperson, if required, voting process will be adopted for its formation. Dr Jitendra Pratap Singh, the newly elected President of Bharat Suraksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, is a doctor and surgeon of modern medical science and is the outgoing Additional Chief Medical Officer (Administration) of Sant Ravidas Nagar (Bhadohi) and has also been the former President of the doctors' organization IMA, Varanasi. It is worth noting that the Council has also honored Dr Singh with Banaras Ratna and Banaras Gaurav Samman for his works and social contribution.
On Dr. Jitendra Pratap Singh being elected as the President of India Security Council, Uttar Pradesh, all the office bearers and members including Council's life member and former Director General of Health Family and Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Om Prakash Singh, Council's Central Secretary Dr. Savita Poonam, Rajkumar Singh, Council Program Convener/Organizer and CPIB Additional Secretary Dr. Jamirul Islam, Principal Secretary E. Moinuddin Ahmed, Secretary Dr. S.S. Ganguly, Dr. O.P. Sharma and other prominent people extended their heartfelt wishes and congratulations.
